Abstracts due February 23

Student 研究一天 is an annual event held each spring for undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines to present their scholarly work. 学生’ research and creative accomplishments and the important role faculty play as mentors are both highlighted. Any 体育菠菜大平台 student engaged in mentored research or creative activity is eligible and encouraged to participate, even if their work was not funded through 体育菠菜大平台.

Presentations include oral presentations, poster presentations, performances, and exhibitions. Poster and oral presentations are judged and awards are given at a reception at the end of the event. There are also writing competitions which will be judged prior to 研究一天 with prizes awarded at the closing ceremony.

Submitting Abstracts

Abstracts should be a single paragraph that is 200-300 words in length, but otherwise following the conventions of the specific discipline. 学生 can submit their abstracts via ν坡道 by selecting “IC Application” (under “Quick Add Actions”) and then “Student Research Day 2024” from the drop down menu. After abstracts are compiled, we will provide the presenters with more information about format.

Student 研究一天 Schedule

To accommodate the large number of anticipated submissions, we have divided the poster presentations into four sessions. Each poster will be displayed for two sessions (either morning or afternoon) and judged in one session. In order to be eligible for prizes students must be present for judging.
